Sharon Rundle
Sharon Rundle (DCA, B.Ed., IPEd, UTS SMSA medal for Superior Achievement, UTS Alumni Award for Excellence) is a researcher, author and editor, who has published in literary journals, academic books and journals, as well as anthologies of short fiction. She completed a Doctorate of Creative Arts by research at the University of Technology Sydney in November 2016. She has over twenty-five years' experience in editing and teaching writing at universities and colleges in Australia, UK and India. Book editor. Sharon is currently Chair, UTS Writers' Alumni. Founding member: Asia Pacific Writers & Translators. Editor, Society of Women Writers and "Women's Ink!” Writing Fellow, FAW; Life member: Indian Association for the Study of Australia; Full professional member: Australian Society of Authors; Institute of Professional Editors; Society of Editors NSW; Member: South Asian Diaspora Research International Network, South Asian-Australian Writers' Network, British Council Alumni, Society of Women Writers, Sydney Mechanics School of Arts. Sharon co-edits Indo-Australian anthologies published in Australia and India: "Glass Walls" (Orient BlackSwan) 2019; "Only Connect: Short fiction about Technology and Us" (Brass Monkey Books Australia, and Rupa Publications India, 2014); "Alien Shores: Tales of Refugees and Asylum Seekers" (Brass Monkey Books, 2012); and "Fear Factor Terror Incognito " (Picador Pan Macmillan, India, 2009 and Australia, 2010). She co-edited "Round Table Writing: A Workbook for Writers and Writers' Groups".
